So you think you’re funny or you’ve said "I can do that!" Well, here’s your chance to strut your stuff! Get a team together – Write 6 to 10 minutes of sketches with 2 randomly selected factors – Perform your sketches to a sold-out audience – Wow the judges to win the coveted Vancouver Rice Bowl – Goad the audience and take home the People’s CHOYS Award! Check out the Rules & Regulations and Register your team by 6 PM April 1st, 2010. Your team could win up to $500! Limited to 8 teams only!

Wild, ZANY, gut-aching, peeing in pants FUNNY! Ask anyone from the 2009 competition. Celebrity Judges award the coveted Vancouver Rice Bowl and $250 to the First Place Team, $100 for 2nd place and $50 for 3rd. On the second night, teams are judged by the audience – measured by YOUR applause. The highest decibel readings take the PEOPLE’s CHOYS AWARD and $250! This is an event you don’t want to miss! Miss Suneet Maan is the first Miss Teen Canada of Asian heritage.

Benita Ha joins the Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre (VACT) and host Tom Chin at the Norman Rothstein Theatre with Chop Suey Special #10- Serving up a Decade of Performances. Her acting career began in Halifax when she was a series regular host on the CBC National award-winning teen show, Street Cents, which she was on for 6 years.

Between 2003 and 2006, fans have been laughing, lusting, crying and cheering for this unique episodic series of four plays about 4 hot Asian Canadian girlfriends and the hopeless men in their lives. A special condensed version of the entire series has been written and this hilarious production can indeed be billed as “The Best of Sex In Vancouver,” starring an all-star reunion of various cast members of VACT’s most profitable production, SEX IN VANCOUVER.
